Funding and Grants

Funding Opportunities

Starting out in Rounders can be fairly inexpensive as a lot of equipment can be improvised from everyday belongings. However whilst this may suffice in the early stages of play, as the games and participation develop and grow, you should be considering providing team members with approved rounders equipment and maybe even a uniform. Playing with professional equipment helps to generate awareness of your sport and a uniform emphasises equality.

Grants

Rounders equipment and a team uniform requires money. Fortunately, grants are provided by a myriad of sources which you can apply for on behalf of your team. It is important to find the right grant before starting work on an application and it is also essential to keep informed about any grants that are available to you. Where to go for help

Once you have found the funding scheme you are looking for, there is without doubt, no better place to go for help than to the awarding body. Alternatively, the best port of call is to look for support at a local level ie your regions Active Partnerships.
