UKCC Level 2

Background Information:
The 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Rounders (UKCC Level 2) is the second qualification within our new coaching structure. The new courses replace the old NRA Level 1 and NRA 2 courses which are no longer available.

About the Course:
The course provides the knowledge for coaches to deliver rounders activities.

The course will be split over 12 modules (4 day course with a minimum of 1 week between the 1st and 2nd day, 5 - 6 weeks between the 2nd and 3rd day, and 1 week between the 3rd and 4th day).

What are the benefits of doing this course?
By successfully completing a Level 2 coaching qualification, as part of a UKCC endorsed
coach education programme, coaches will be able to:

  • Prepare for the delivery of coaching activities
  • Deliver prepared activities of the coaching sessions
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of coaching activities

What will I learn?
On successful completion of the 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Rounders, you should be able to:

  • establish working relationships with the participants and others
  • establish a safe working environment
  • prepare for activities, taking into account participants’ needs and motives
  • contribute to the creation of a safe working environment
  • prepare the participants for the coaching activities
  • deliver prepared activities
  • support participants’ behaviour
  • conclude the activities
  • review the activities
  • contribute to the evaluation of participants
  • develop personal practice continuously

Who can attend?
Learners ideally need to be at least 18 years old to register and attend the course. Learners who are 17 years old may register and attend this course, however they will not receive their certificate or be recognised as a Level 2 coach by Rounders England until they are 18 years of age.

Do I need to bring anything to the course?
You will need to come in sportswear. Participants will be expected to take part in the activities.

£395
