Workforce Development

We are currently looking to increase our pool of Coach Educators (Tutors and Assessors), particularly in the south of the country, to compliment our existing coach educator workforce.

If you would like to become involved you will need to meet the required criteria, detailed on the application form.

Potential Tutors/Assessors will also be required:
• to hold the ‘old’ NRA Level 2 Coach award
• either, be a qualified teacher or, hold relevant tutoring/assessing qualifications – e.g. Certificate  in Tutoring  in Sport (CTS), City and Guilds 7407 or A1 or - Introduction to Assessment Practice in Sport (IAPS)

Rounders England will:
• Support you to complete your CTS and IAPS (if not already qualified)
• Provide opportunities to work as a Coach Educator and receive payment
• Provide on going support to enable you to undertake the role

If you are a P.E. Teacher and would like to be considered to deliver the Rounders Young Leaders Award or the Coaching for Teachers courses in the future, please contact the coaching team on 0114 2480 357 or CoachEducation@roundersengland.co.uk

Potential deliverers will be required:
• to provide evidence of their experience and competence to deliver these awards and undertake appropriate training

Rounders England will:
• provide opportunities to work as a course deliverer for RYLA and C4T courses and receive payment
• Provide ongoing support to enable you to undertake the role

Rounders England are currently developing the training (orientation) required to deliver the Rounders Young Leaders Award. The training to support the delivery of the Coaching for Teachers courses will be available later in the year. Deliverers will also be required to commit to ongoing 'continued professional development' over the longer term.

Please note: All of our Coach Educators are required to hold an up-to-date CRB Certificate.
