9 Elections: 

Rounders England Elected Director – Pauline Connington, proposed by David Waterhouse, seconded by Dave Dorrell. 
Pauline Connington has played rounders in the East Yorkshire region for over 10 years and is a qualified rounders umpire and coach. Pauline formed the Scarlet Women rounders team in 2004. She created a new rounders section for the Hull Works Sports Association in 2007. As the HWSA league secretary, Pauline has developed the league and it has grown to two divisions. The teams and players have enjoyed tournaments, umpire courses, a coaching course and Pauline took a HWSA team to play against the England U21 team at Stafford on the 6th June 2010 Pauline brought the new indoor rounders game to Hull in November 2009 and the HWSA indoor rounders winter league helped to assess new equipment and the rules of the indoor rounders game. Pauline has been a volunteer appointed director of Rounders England since July 2009. She has contributed to the valuable work of the Rounders England board with a particular interest in Health and Safety and the interests of the players. She is also a member of the Infrastructure sub-committee.



Rounders England Treasurer – Nicki Stowe, proposed by Pauline Connington, seconded by David Waterhouse. Nicki Stowe graduated as a mature student in July last year from Hull University with a first class honours degree in accountancy and is currently working for DWP (civil service) as a graduate trainee on a 3 year development programme, as well as working towards her Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification.   Nicki has been involved in rounders for many years as a player and currently plays for both Hassra Yorkshire & Humber and a local club team; she is also a qualified umpire and coach.  Nicki would like to use her accountancy experience to support the work of Rounders England.
