P.E. Teachers May Now Deliver The Rounders Young Leaders Award

P.E. Teachers May Now Deliver The Rounders Young Leaders Award

Rounders England have recently reviewed their Rounders Young Leaders Award (RYLA) and one of the changes is to now allow P.E teachers to deliver the course.

P.E. teachers will need to:

• complete an application form
• be able to provide evidence of a current CRB check (or undertake a new one)
• be an individual Rounders England member
• attend a RYLA Orientation course (£50)

Following the RYLA Orientation course, P.E. teachers may then deliver the RYLA within their own school (and other local schools should they wish to).

The four hour RYLA Orientation training days will be organised across the country starting from mid-September 2010 and will provide RYLA Tutors with the information/resources  required to deliver the new RYLA course.

If you would like to register your interest and/or request an application form, please email your name, school and county to:

E: coaching@roundersengland.co.uk.
T: 0114 2480 357

We also welcome enquiries from School Sports Co-ordinators /County Sports Partnerships who may wish to organise training for P.E teachers within a particular group of schools.
