Sporting Equals - Club Membership Research
Sporting Equals is an independent, not-for-profit organisation who’s objective is to raise awareness and understanding of the needs of black and minority ethnic (BME) communities within sport and physical activity to increase participation. Research is key to the organisation and helps us to advise and support policy makers and delivery bodies to become more inclusive.
The aim of this research is to identify the key issues around club membership for BME communities in the UK. The research will inform Sport England and other key partners such as national governing bodies of sport and county sports partnerships and provide key policy recommendations for the sector. Your input into this research is a valuable way of ensuring key concerns are identified as well as providing insight into the challenges and barriers that may be experienced by some BME communities which need to be addressed.
