Rounders Is Changing!

Until this year, the National Governing Body of Rounders was the National Rounders Association. It is now Rounders England.
The change is much more than a change of name and logo.
The role of the old NRA Executive Committee was both strategic and operational. Its members were initially all volunteers and they attempted to direct our sport and run it on a day to day basis.
A higher level of funding has enabled us to implement significant changes, and dictated others.
Day to day operations are increasingly carried out by paid staff. The Board of Directors (all volunteers apart from the CEO) manage strategic development towards meeting the targets set out in our Whole Sport Plan. Four sub-committees support the Board by taking the lead on operational tasks and helping shape developments in different areas related to the WSP. They play a pivotal role in ensuring Rounders continues to develop and support those playing the sport.
