Coronavirus guidance for teams and leagues and course participants

Rounders England is continuing to monitor the ongoing situation regarding the coronavirus / COVID -19. In light of yesterdays announcement (Thursday 12th March 2020) Rounders England will operate business as usual whilst the guidance from relevant authorities remains that there is no medical rationale to close or cancel sporting events at this time. We will however continue to take government advice to inform any future changes or decisions. Should our position change we will notify members, leagues, teams, players, volunteers and any organisation or individual registered to take part in one of our events or courses and we will provide an update on the Rounders England website.

For any events or courses taking place in the next 6 weeks we will continue to gain advice and work with involved organisations individually to decide on the appropriate course of action to minimize potential risk of the virus on players, staff, officials and volunteers.

Our guidance at this time for members, leagues, teams and volunteers is to follow the Government’s advice to inform any decisions as it is updated on a regular basis.

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow guidance at the appropriate time in order to minimise risk and disruption to the Rounders community.
