England bring a brilliant season to a close in Rhyl

On Sunday 20th August, the final battle commenced between Wales and England in the last International fixture of the 2017 season. The fixture took place at the Ysgol Tir Morfa School in Rhyl for the first time.

The day was a success for England, triumphantly winning two out of three matches, narrowly missing a win for the Senior squad.

The games played were a delightful watch and the weather was on point enabling the fixture to be completed in high spirits. The venue was the perfect setting to showcase our sport.

Most Valuable Player’s:

England Under 16 squad – Grace Doyle

England Under 19 squad – Phillipa Palmer

It was an emotional end to the day as Senior squad player, Rachael Cook, played her final match before retiring after 13 years of playing Rounders for England.
