LATEST UPDATE: CORONAVIRUS GUIDANCE

In light of the ongoing effects of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and following government advice Rounders England is suspending all Rounders activities with immediate effect until 17th April 2020. This includes any training courses, events and competitions scheduled to take place during this time. We would urge all leagues, teams and clubs to support this approach. This will impact on differing levels and scale and we will continue to monitor the situation and react to the ever changing circumstances at the present time.

We will continue to engage with the Rounders community and will keep everyone up to date with any changes. Keeping fit and healthy is more important than ever right now and remaining active in whatever way works for you is one way of helping yourself both physically and mentally. If you have not been instructed to self-isolate then getting outdoors and in green space individually or with members of your household is encouraged – why not get out for a walk or take a bat and ball and play together in the fresh air. Sport England have issued some guidance around staying active whilst at home here and will be using the hashtag #StayInWorkOut to share these. Rounders England will also be using our own social media channels to engage in some virtual fun challenges and provide some hints and tips to help us #StayInWorkOut.

The Rounders England staff team will be working from home from today and whilst the office isn’t officially shut, please be conscious of how you communicate with us whilst we ensure we have all the appropriate systems in place. At this time the best way to communicate with us is by emailing [email protected] as this will be monitored at all times.

We hope our Rounders community remains fit and healthy and we look forward to returning to playing our wonderful game when the time is right.
