Rounders England appoints Head of Talent to lead development pathway

Rounders England is excited to announce the appointment of Colin Allen as its new Head of Talent Pathway. With sixteen years experience working with national athlete development systems and performance pathways, Colin will play a pivotal role in the next phase of rounders, focusing on the organisations aspiration to become a Commonwealth Games ready sport by 2032.

 

Colin is currently the National Lead for Delivery at TASS and is responsible for overseeing both the strategic and day-to-day planning for the Scheme, which provides sport science support services to c.1,000 athletes at the top of the England Talent Pathway across 35 sports.

“I am excited to work with Rounders England, I truly believe there is huge potential for the sport and am looking forward to supporting its continued growth. I am keen to help establish a diverse and inclusive, athlete-centred talent pathway that enables athletes from all backgrounds to thrive in Rounders.”
