Rounders: Reconnected
‘When Sofiya Makda picked up a rounders bat in 2015, she couldn’t have imagined the impact it was going to have on her life.’
Sofyia’s lived experience is real, current, evolving and rounders came along at just the right time for her and family.
Ready Steady Active, a small organisation, making a big impact in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, was started by Rashida Salloo, a woman on a mission to introduce sport and activity to women and girls in the South Asian community.
“I’ve got dreams which I never thought I would have.”
The latest episode of The YSF Podcast is out tomorrow morning, featuring @readystdyactive founder, Rashida Salloo, and @BatleyNinjas captain, Sofiya Makda.
